Chipotle Mexican Grill is coming to Mexico. The California-based chain said Monday it’s planning to open a restaurant in Mexico early next year, its first location south of the border in its 30-year history.

Chipotle Mexican Grill will open a storefront in Mexico and look to expand into additional markets in the region. The burrito chain on Monday said it signed a development agreement with Alsea, a restaurant operator in Latin America and Europe,
