Beverly Hills police advised the public Thursday to be aware of the state’s new crosswalk daylighting law, which is aimed at enhancing pedestrian safety by improving visibility at intersections.

The Raleigh City Council is looking into how much it will cost to improve safety at nearly two dozen dangerous intersections ... Both say they use the crosswalk with extreme caution.
