Jamie Chapman pleaded guilty to shooting a gun in the street near the Ghent Square in remembrance of a deceased friend.

Plans are moving forward for a new Maury High School in Norfolk's Ghent a neighborhoods. It's a project that's been the works for the last several years to address the current aging building.

The future of Maury High School took a step closer to reality as plans for a new structure were presented to the Norfolk Architectural Review Board on Monday night.
