The last 12th of June was the 125th anniversary of our independence from Spain. As we know, June 12 is the date when President Emilio F. Aguinaldo proclaimed our independence in Kawit, Cavite.

General Emilio Aguinaldo and his senior advisors finally decided to change the strategy and tactics on how to fight the United States. The official date of the change was November 12, 1899.
