Original Sin ends with Deb (Molly Brown) deciding to forego a college volleyball scholarship to follow in her father and brother’s footsteps at Miami Metro, setting up the intricate web of lies Dexter must weave to keep his cop sister off his blood-soaked trail.

We don't yet know whether Dexter: Original Sin will return for a second season, but that certainly seems to be the hope from the cast and crew. Patrick Gibson, who plays the young Dexter in the series, told Yahoo UK that he would "love" to star in a second season, adding that he had "such a great time doing this".

Dexter: Resurrection, a continuation of the original series with Michael C. Hall, Uma Thurman, and Peter Dinklage is expected to begin airing this summer. I expect better things, although those expectations are not particularly high.
