A reporter captured a viral video of Hurley's profanity-laced rant following the Huskies' NCAA Tournament loss on Sunday.

The reporter who captured Dan Hurley's viral, expletive-filled rant following UConn's loss to Florida in the NCAA tournament has received an apology from the school's director of communications after an incident outside the locker room following the game.

Charlotte Sports Live reporter Joey Ellis recorded Hurley’s rant and the clip went viral — much to the annoyance of UConn’s director of men’s basketball communications Bobby Mullen, as he reportedly asked Ellis to delete the video before threatening to “ruin” Ellis’ life if he did not cooperate.
