The "Hands Off" protests are expected to be the largest and most numerous protests since Trump's second term began. Nationwide more than 500,000 people had RSVP'd to attend one of 1,000 rallies marches or protests organized by grassroots groups.

“Liberty and justice for all is something that we’ve all repeated a million times at every school. I just wanted to remind people that this is what we all stand for,” says Cyan Simone, a protester in Carson City. “This is citizen power, and we’ll get our democracy back,” says political activist Jill Derby.

They were the largest U.S. protests since Trump began cutting public programs and government workers. Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators filled the streets of cities, towns, and villages across the country on Saturday.

Crowds stood on every corner of Williamsport’s Market Square on Saturday as they joined a nationwide demonstration protesting the Trump administration.
