A quirky candy maker has launched a nationwide treasure hunt, sending sugar mavens into a frenzy. They'll need to pay to play for the ultimate prize -- one of his candy factories.

Located in Downtown Mesa, Mad Candy is not the typical candy store, as it takes inspiration from Alice In Wonderland, Willy Wonka, and more. FOX 10's Desiree Fluellen has more on the unique store.

David Klein, the sponsor of the “treasure hunt” contest gaining attention within the media this weekend, is not associated with Jelly Belly Candy Company, its brands, or products.

But, only one person will win the grand prize. "We are going to have the ultimate treasure hunt where the winner will be receiving a key to one of our candy factories," said Klein.
