It can be heard across the city as it strikes the hour and whenever the bells are rung. It can be seen on the Abbey Tower Tour.

The clock on the North face of the Abbey has always belonged to the city, and so to the people of Bath. It was originally higher up on the tower, but was moved in 1834 when the tower started to crack.
