Matt Gay, released by the Indianapolis Colts earlier this month, got a contract worth more than $4.25 million fully guaranteed in Washington.

The Washington Commanders have changed kickers once more. Washington signed veteran kicker Matt Gay, prompting the release of Zane Gonzalez, the team announced Tuesday.

The Washington Commanders are making moves at the kicker position by swapping Zane Gonzalez out for Matt Gay. On Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reported that Washington is signing Gay to a one-year contract and releasing Gonzalez.
