WASHINGTON - Capitol Police arrested a man outside of the United States Capitol July 16 after finding a bow and arrow in his vehicle, a spokesperson said in a statement. The man also admitted to having guns in the vehicle, the statement said.

Records show the 23-year-old arrested, Nolan R. Churan, has lived in Myrtle Point in Coos County but also has an address in Costa Mesa, California.

Capitol Police on Wednesday morning detained an individual who owned an “unusual vehicle” parked near the Capitol complex with a bow and arrow inside. “This morning, USCP officers saw an unusual vehicle on Pennsylvania Avenue with a tri-cycle strapped to the roof.
