A heart attack caused the death of pro wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, authorities said Thursday, a week after the larger-than-life entertainer passed away in Florida.

Hulk Hogan’s official cause of death has been revealed. Page Six can exclusively confirm that the pro wrestling legend died from acute myocardial infarction — commonly known as a heart attack — which is when blood flow to the heart muscle is suddenly blocked, causing tissue damage, per the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center.
