The Houston Rockets social media team posted a fiery Kevin Durant transformation video in anticipation of the All-Star's arrival.

Alongside Durant, Houston also welcomed veteran center Clint Capela, while Phoenix received a package headlined by Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, Daeqwon Plowden and multiple future second‑round picks. Other teams reshuffled draft rights and picks, with the Warriors netting two rookie standouts and the Lakers acquiring the draft rights to Adou Thiero.

Even as the Houston Rockets were playing their way to the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference last season, it wasn't difficult to see them as a young team that was maybe a year or two away from serious championship contention.
