"Extensive DNA testing" used to identify two teenagers - Jeik Lusi, 18, Elvis Castillo, 16 - found after plane landed at Fort Lauderdale Airport.

Florida investigators identified a pair of teenagers whose bodies were found in an airliner's landing gear after a New York City-to-Fort Lauderdale flight back in January, officials said on Tuesday.

Jeik Aniluz Lusi, 18, and Elvis Borques Castillo, 16, were discovered during a routine post-flight maintenance inspection in January, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office. Extensive DNA testing was used to confirm their identities, the sheriff's office said.
