DETROIT – A pitcher with the Pittsburgh Pirates took a swing at a fan from the Comerica Park bullpen. It happened during the second game of Thursday’s double header between the Pirates and Detroit Tigers.

Santana, a 29-year-old right-handed pitcher who's in his second season with Pittsburgh, appeared to reach up to swing at a fan while he was in the bullpen. A security guard stood next to Santana as the incident occurred, and he was then separated from the fans and walked away.
