In a stunning blow to international scholars who had hopes of studying in the United States, the Trump administration has revoked hundreds of student visas in nearly every corner of the country as part of a vast immigration crackdown.

The lawsuits were filed this week in U.S. District Court in Denver on behalf of three plaintiffs identified only as “Student Doe” due to fear of retaliation

The people affected include a University of Houston professor from Korea who was teaching upper level math under a type of student visa that allows graduates to work in their field of study.
