We went in the later afternoon around 3 or so during the week no crowds at all.
Hi, during the ride up the cable car and when reached the peak, is the air so thin that breathing becomes difficult? How did you cope with it? I am travelling with kids and older folks.

We did experience this as well. Just take your time, go slow, take some rest from time to time. Enjoy the beautiful view while resting.

Hi all! FYI, I booked a taxi from my guesthouse (140k dong) to the station. on returning, I tried Grab and it shows about 80k - 90k. However there was no drivers at vicinity and I waited for like 15 mins before I got one. I texted him using the app as I was worried the location is not accurate (it happens when I used the app in Malaysia and Singapore) and he replied saying I need to pay 150k dong as the location is incorrect. I agreed since I paid around the same price when I came (metered). However, when I viewed the app, both pickup and drop off location are the same. Not sure which part is inaccurate.. Hmm..
