【大理洱海】 洱海，古代文献中曾称为叶榆泽、昆弥川、西洱河、西二河等。为云南省第二大淡水湖。洱海北起洱源，长约42.58公里，东西最大宽度9.0公里，湖面面积256.5平方公里，平均湖深10米，最大湖深达20米。洱海是大理“风花雪月”四景之一“洱海月”之所在。据说因形状像一个耳朵而取名为“洱海”。虽然称之为海，但其实是一个湖泊，据说是因为云南深居内陆，白族人民为表示对海的向往，所以称之为洱海。…Tourist38811的完整评论

因为住在英迪格，二楼大堂的观景真是绝了，跟洱海也就一马路之隔，湖水映照着蓝天高山，那镜面效果特好看。据司机分享，他心情不好啊或者比较有空就可以开车环湖一周。去的时候报了二人团+包车，送到了一个不知道哪的犄角旮旯给我们一小时骑单车，就穿过了一个村子到了洱海的一边，看着一大片湖感觉整个人就放松下来了，就算不干什么，单单看着也很nice。全部评论

HI, I actually did not know the town but I believe those saying Longkan are correct. We just showed the taxi driver Caicun on a map because we thought it was there and she figured it out and took us to the dock. Remember there are two ferry rides, the long one and the short one we did. Yes, it only goes in the middle but that was long enough for us to get a sense of the size and beauty of the lake and the visits were interesting without being too long. Bon voyage!
