Hi, i was there today and noticed when looking at the wolves they couldn't come up to the visitors fence because they were blocked in by another fence. Is it always like this or maybe they just hadnt gotten to opening it all yet?

The fence has been removed ! It was part of the old enclosure for the wolves. :)

Just as Christine has already said, as soon as you enter the zoo, there is a compound full of goats and kids to be petted. My granddaughters were surprised to hear that baby goats are called kids. Even children as young as two or three were there. And, further into the zoo, there is another compound that has adult deer and some very young fawns that can be fed through the fence, a simple vending machine being adjacent to it where a handful of grain can be had for just a quarter. The deer just lick it out of your hand through the fencing. A delightful experience.
