The Jefferson Pools are closed now, and a local committee is trying to raise the money to restore them. I don't think they have enough money to even start the process, and it would be nice if the Homestead, which owns the land, would kick in more. I don't know the entire story. I think the group is called the "Save the Jefferson Pools Committee" or something like that. You might try googling that. It really is an historic treasure and I hope they succeed!
