Planning a loop road trip Denver - Albuquerque - S Utah - Denver with my wife from about 7 - 30 Sept 2015, primarily to cover the Pueblos & Canyon lands. But I am interested in other things ie old aircraft. Having earmarked the National Museum of World War II Aviation at Colorado springs, I now come across this aircraft museum - just down the road! Now getting my wife to see one aircraft museum is hard work - but 2 - so close together!! Which is better? is it worth seeing both? How could I convince my wife both are worth visiting? Help, please! Thanks Richard

I can't address your questions about how to manage your wife. I have not been to the WWII museum but looking carefully at the webpage it appears to me the WWII museum is not primarily an aircraft museum. The presentations are likely very good and cover interesting areas but WWII is a large subject. Weisbrod on the other hand is almost entirely airplanes and aviation and has an excellent collection of actual airplanes from many eras in two large very packed hangars and several large aircraft outside awaiting hangar space and restoration. Do both if you can. But if you are an airplane guy - Weisbrod is the pick of the two.
