there certainly are costs.If you visit this area you will not avoid returning,again and again.This is not a problem,buy a house and then just stay.This gaeltacht area of donegal has it all.
If I were to stay in Gweedore, would I be able to get to Poisoned Glen without the use of a car?

Errigal Hostel virtually overlooks the Poison Glen and is within walking distance of it and Errigal mountain. An Chuirt hotel is next but is around five km away
