We will be driving a 40’ motor home from Lake Louise to Seattle. Would it be possible to park in the parking lot near the trail in order to enjoy the walk? If so, will we need to purchase a park pass to do that? Where would we buy the pass? Is parking free?

There is probably room for a 40 ft. RV in the small parking lot. You can buy a pass at the park entrance which is right on the Trans-Canada Highway.
