There are no sheer drops anywhere on the drive so it is surprisingly calm for a "mountain drive". As it goes from 0 to 3500 to 7000 to 10000 feet there are different areas in which you could turn around. It is not a straight 0 to 10000 feet climb as I thought it would be.
