The gardens are closed until April 2020. The shop and nursery are open Monday thru Friday, Saturday morning and closed on Sunday. Check the website for more details.

Sissinghurst garden nearby is a must, National Trust owned, and the town of Rye nearby is beautiful. Go in the late spring , early summer to see Dixter at its best, you won’t be disappointed.
