On my map, I see reservoirs 4-6 in West Hartford. Are any of these the same as the listing on Trip Advisor?

For all the information needed, go on-line and look at Reservoirs/The Metropolitan District. It provides maps for #4 with public entrance from Farmington Ave., #6 public entrance from Albany Ave., Rte. 44. There is more information about the MDC land and water ways to explore.
Which is the trail that goes around the reservoir?? Went for first time today and started walking red path---did not want to go all the way--and doubled back....then started yellow one. To me it is confusing and there were no maps or where each trail begins (and how long it is) anywhere. Am I missing something??

OK just to be clear - from the huge parking lot as you head towards any marked trails is WEST right? There is a choice right at the top there - it SEEMS...and that would be red/left and yellow to the right and then bear left.....yes??? When I started the red trail I went over a mile--and saw NO water at all. Are most of the reservoirs beyond that first mile?? Just curious because I do not like to not know where I am going especially if doing this alone. I looked diligently for posted maps and saw none.
