Yes, miles and miles of clean sandy beach , lovely spot. Deckchairs and umbrellas can be hired. Toilets ( with small charge) dotted along the wide foot path that runs along the shore line. We were told it was windy in Essaouira, but we did experience any during our stay in mid February ( temp was 20 degrees lovely balmy days)
Can you get married on the beach? My partner and would like to have a ceremony while we are there even though we will technically be married in Australia before we leave

Hi. I would just like to know do you have to pay for the outside showers on the beach in essaouira? We just came today and kids were playing on the sand wanted to rinse them of at the showers and was told there is charge. As far as I know from other beaches in the world outside showers are free for the public. Anyone know better?
