ah Lorraine! that indeed is the issue. When it rains, or even if the weather is too cloudy, flights are liable to be cancelled. This is what happened to us when we were there, and I had booked a flight as a surprise for my boyfriend. But the guys out there are super nice. In our case, as we came from abroad and were on the spot only 2 days, they managed to rebook the flight the very next day when the weather turned better! If they cannot rebook you immediately, they offer you a voucher to allow you to rebook at a later time, as indicated on their website (If the weather is not suitable for flying on the day you have booked, we will re-book your flight for an alternative date to suit you.)

I took a 40 minute Tiger Moth flight in September 2016. The total cost was 269 British Pounds which at the time translated to just over $500.00 Canadian.
