Buy understanding is it should be there all year. I'm not aware it's sailing this year. Perhaps a check of the Mystic Seaport website would advise if it's scheduled to be out of port.
we visited several years ago and found ourselves at a glorious food festival. with samples offered from local restaurants and a beer tent with live entertainment. Does this still occur? I think it was around Labor Day weekend?

We were there end of June and it was occurring then at Mystic Village but they may have it again on Labor Day. I was called Taste of Mystic.
