Hi. We were there in the summer. I can tell you there is ferry to Akdamar which starts from out of Van. You start on the way to Edremit and it is around 40 kms. The return price is 15 …
Hi. We were there in the summer. I can tell you there is ferry to Akdamar which starts from out of Van. You start on the way to Edremit and it is around 40 kms. The return price is 15 liras and 5 liras as entrance fee. The ferry ride takes about 50 minutes and you can spend 1 hour on the island.
Has anyone visited Akdamar Island in the middle of the winter? Do they even run the boats out to the Island? Is it too cold to enjoy?
